Amsterdam based photographer Aisha Zeijpveld specializes in conceptual portraiture. But she is not just a photographer - she photographs, collages, photographs, arranges and photographs once again. Zeijpveld then transforms each piece with her eccentric editing. Hair is replaced with smoke, cracks appear in naked backs, extra limbs sprout from bodies. She uses hands-on techniques rather than digital compositing and prefers lo-fi over high tech. Using found objects, scissors, torn paper and other elements, Zeipjeld brings another depth to her photos, allowing them to exist on the border of reality and dream world.

Sasha Kurmaz is a multidisciplinary artist. His artistic background has roots in graffiti and, even though he has left this medium behind, his work still concentrates on public space. In most of his work he plays a game of de-powering power structures, using both humorous and conceptual interventions.
He himself distinguishes his work as the study of space by means of photography, drawing, video and interaction, as well as the study of the influence of the artwork on the social context. On the other hand he is constantly on the search for alternative ways of representation of art outside of art institutions. His work is impressive and his intimate portraits take a closer look at the human body in a sphere between pure nakedness and a world of emotions. Sasha Kurmaz is the winner of the C/O Berlin award "Talent 2015“.
